Google Webmaster Tools

I know I've said it before, but Google is probably the best friend you have in your quest to rule the world via your website. Obviously, Adsense is the big kahuna because it can, you know, make you money, but Google's Webmaster Tools can also be a very useful tool to help you manage your website.

Once you get set up with Webmaster Tools, you'll be able to check and run site diagnostics, site configuration and even see which of your pages is being ranked by Google. You can also check to see what search queries are finding your site and what ranking you hold on that list. This is a very useful tool to help find out which Keywords are working and which ones are not. My other site www.ussoccerthoughts.com is apparently in the 6th position when searching Google for "us soccer blog." That's pretty cool stuff and is very useful information when figuring out how to expand your audience.

There is also keyword information, subscriber stats, back link information and a place to check your crawl stats. Basically Google's Webmaster Tools is a free and easy way for you to watch what's going on with your site and learn from the trends that are taking place. It's really a great service. Thanks Google.
